Platform of Industrial and Consumer Goods

Platform of Industrial and Consumer Goods

What is it?
Major advances in information technologies and a wide spread of electronic document management systems create a conductive environment for the development of electronic trade.
Founded by the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange, the platform of Industrial and Consumer Goods offers economic agents an opportunity to sell or buy a commodity in any country of the world with guaranteed delivery and payment by a mere click of a button.

How does it work?
The platform has a bilingual (English and Russian) user interface and is available online 24/7. All transactions are concluded electronically by means of a two-way auction making sure that both bids and offers compete.

Scenario 1:
The seller puts up his commodity for sale > the buyer sees the commodity in the system and, if he is satisfied with the delivery terms and the price, presses the “buy” button thereby closing the deal > if the buyer wants to change the terms of delivery or adjust the price, he makes a counteroffer that the seller can accept, accept with some changes or reject > the buyer selects the logistics option (either before or after closing the deal) > the sides sign the exchange contract, register it at the exchange, pay the transaction fee and fulfill their contractual obligations: the seller ships the goods whereas the buyer pays for and accepts the goods.

Scenario 2:
The buyer submits a bid > the seller sees the bid in the system and send an offer to the buyer > the buyers chooses the most satisfactory offer and presses the “buy” button > if the buyer wants to change the terms of delivery or adjust the price, he makes a counter-offer that the seller can accept, accept with some changes or reject > the buyer selects the logistics option (either before or after closing the deal) > the sides sign the exchange contract, register it at the exchange, pay the transaction fee and fulfill their contractual obligations: the seller ships the goods whereas the buyer pays for and accepts the goods.
